Diesel Boot Chocolate Washed Horsehide

The word “diesel” doesn’t exactly remind us of something flashy but instead of something built for strength and longevity. This is our rendition of the basic plain toe boot pattern—made with nothing but proven leather uppers, lining, and insole.

Chocolate Washed Horsehide is a vegetable-tanned leather from Maryam, utilizing natural tannins from trees to create a subtle leather with a slight sheen. This full-grained leather comes from the horse front, known for its denser fiber, offering a tight grain structure. This leather offers immediate comfort and ease of wear. Unlike the initial stiffness often found in horsebutt leathers, Maryam’s Washed Horsehide provides a lightweight, soft, and malleable feel, much like kangaroo leather.
